00:01:00
What this season has taught me about hustle, love and legacy.
00:01:06
Welcome listeners, acknowledge this season finale.
00:01:12
I want to thank everybody who had tuned in, share the episode,
00:01:18
supported the vision as per usual.
00:01:22
If it wasn't for y'all, none of this will be going on.
00:01:26
So a good appreciation for y'all as per usual.
00:01:30
And I wanna state that this season represented for you
00:01:38
personally and professionally because y'all didn't have to do
00:01:42
what y'all had to do to keep the movement alive and get it being
00:01:48
looked at in so many different places in the within the United
00:01:53
States, most definitely Tennessee and Nashville
00:01:55
represented as a top spots. Knoxville, Atlanta, Virginia and
00:02:03
Jackson, Ms. Wait untouched. Singapore, Philippines, Russia
00:02:11
and the UK real big in 10 Asia, East Africa.
00:02:18
This season wasn't just content, it was real life happening in
00:02:23
real time. All the stuff that I talked
00:02:27
about in the episodes was real and it's all about grind,
00:02:33
greediness and pure hustle. And it's hard for people to talk
00:02:41
about it, but I like to pretty much say that it was worth it in
00:02:47
the end because I got a lot of feedback and a lot of notoriety
00:02:55
that didn't even know what I was building.
00:02:57
I was just came on here and just started talking.
00:03:00
But I like to hear feedback and especially the individual that
00:03:05
seen me out in Nashville and told me to keep doing what I'm
00:03:09
doing. Shout out to that person.
00:03:11
Facts. But now we'll get into the
00:03:14
hustle, what building really requires.
00:03:19
I'll be talking about starting and growing something from the
00:03:22
ground up. It's always good to have a
00:03:27
vision and an idea. That's the start of everything.
00:03:32
Once you have the start of that, it's the next thing to do is put
00:03:37
it to put it to work. Come up with a name, come up
00:03:42
with a niche and a craft. I always tell people if they
00:03:47
want to get into starting a company, do something where it
00:03:51
lets you like doing it. Make it so much easier and you
00:03:55
don't have to worry about all the extra headaches.
00:03:58
Next thing for sure is consistency.
00:04:01
When motivation is low, staying consistent, it's going to keep
00:04:05
that grind going because as per usual, when you're not
00:04:11
consistent, the audience not going to take you serious.
00:04:14
You just here for a hot 2nd and that brings the motivation low.
00:04:19
Now as I always repeat it in these episodes, motivation is
00:04:24
always there but the consistency will get you paid.
00:04:29
Or if I said I can't remember how I phrased it.
00:04:32
But staying consistent is a big thing because you never know
00:04:35
who's watching. But motivation can fade all day.
00:04:39
But in the long run, staying consistent is gonna take you
00:04:43
places learning discipline or excitement.
00:04:47
Of course, when you're starting something that's new and fresh,
00:04:51
you're going to be excited because it's like, man, I don't
00:04:53
know what to do. I'm excited and blah, blah.
00:04:56
The main thing is you got to stay disciplined along with that
00:04:59
consistency because when you got those two involved and hand in
00:05:04
hand and one-on-one, one-on-one, like a marriage, it's going to
00:05:07
take you a whole lot of different places that you would
00:05:09
never imagine. So that's a way of staying on
00:05:15
top of things, discipline over excitement.
00:05:19
And when you are the boss, a lot of people talk like they're the
00:05:24
boss. Well, when you are the boss,
00:05:27
you're going to be wearing multiple hats.
00:05:29
You're going to be a creator, business owner, learner and
00:05:33
leader. Now me, I wear multiple hats
00:05:38
because it's just me running this company as a right now.
00:05:40
I have one brain ambassador and the whole lot more is coming as
00:05:45
time goes on. But for someone that want to
00:05:49
hire people, one thing you got to realize is whatever is going
00:05:55
on in that workspace, work location or however the company
00:05:59
structure is set up, they're going to come to you with all
00:06:02
the problems. Whether if they can't tie their
00:06:04
shoe, whether the uniform doesn't work, whether the
00:06:07
machine goes out, what if they need time off or get a break
00:06:10
from work and they don't be coming to you for all that
00:06:16
whining and crying that some people will call it and you have
00:06:19
to figure it out. So there's one thing to really
00:06:22
think about when you want to run a company and you got to make
00:06:26
decisions. You got to hire people, you got
00:06:29
to fire people. You got to see if this person is
00:06:32
willing to move up. You got to trust somebody to
00:06:35
open up and close the store and account when they count the
00:06:37
money. That's a real big
00:06:39
responsibility. So that's one way of getting
00:06:44
prepared for what you signed up for.
00:06:46
And always do research before you get into anything.
00:06:50
And a lot of lessons that I would like to hit is hustle
00:06:55
isn't loud, it's repetitive. As far as hustle, hustle is
00:07:01
repetitive because you got to do it every day.
00:07:03
When you are the boss, you have to do it every day.
00:07:07
No days off. Can't Slack or anything like
00:07:09
that. Because remember, starting out,
00:07:11
it's just you. You have to build your vision in
00:07:16
order to bring other people along.
00:07:19
Everybody's not meant to be on this journey.
00:07:21
But when you building something and then someone wants to help
00:07:27
you create division, then your repetitiveness is going to get
00:07:31
that person's attention. But hey, I like to work for this
00:07:34
company and help it grow. That's what I can.
00:07:38
That's the beauty of being a hustler because when you a
00:07:42
hustler, some people hustle on a job.
00:07:46
Nothing wrong with that. Some people hustle in the street
00:07:49
as in Ubering, door dashing, and a variety of other different
00:07:54
ways. Have a truck help people move,
00:07:57
hauling trash, cutting down the trees like in the Nashville and
00:08:03
After the Storm, stuff like that.
00:08:05
Hauling, hustling, hustling to be in a a variety of different
00:08:09
ways, not necessarily always illegal, but it's just another
00:08:13
way of looking at things to help a person build their confidence
00:08:17
up and whatever lifestyle they're living at this moment.
00:08:20
Progress doesn't always look like success.
00:08:23
Progress is motion. It will keep you going.
00:08:28
Progress. You never know what the progress
00:08:31
is until you see the results. As for me, when I there's a
00:08:36
couple times when when it came to the clothing thing, I didn't
00:08:40
want to, I felt like it wasn't going anywhere.
00:08:44
And then randomly I got a e-mail from some people saying they
00:08:48
want to write an article on my company boosting my morale all
00:08:52
the way up. So that's one way to let you
00:08:54
know that even though you're staying consistent and doing all
00:08:57
these things and you don't think nobody's watching, somebody's
00:09:00
always watching. Somebody's always watching and
00:09:05
building while being misunderstood.
00:09:10
For me, when I started this, I got the usual everybody have AT
00:09:15
shirt company, everybody has a clothing line.
00:09:19
So what makes you different from however you do it?
00:09:22
I have a different vision, I have a different grind, I have a
00:09:26
different marketing strategy. And as I said previously,
00:09:29
throughout the seasons, you got Burger King, you got McDonald's,
00:09:33
you got Chick-fil-A, you got mom and pop burger joints.
00:09:37
So everybody's doing something similar.
00:09:39
It's just the recipe is different, cookbook is
00:09:42
different. So just cause a person is
00:09:44
starting something that's the same like someone else, don't
00:09:47
mean it's the same. Everything.
00:09:49
There's something different about each company and each
00:09:52
brand. And when we get into reflection,
00:09:56
there were moments I questioned myself, but I never quit.
00:10:00
The thing is, you never know what you're doing that's
00:10:07
motivating the next person. What I do is what makes me
00:10:12
happy, and I don't try to do stuff to impress people because
00:10:18
my program is this is what I want to do, and that's why I'm
00:10:22
going to keep on doing so. I'm not going to get bent out of
00:10:27
shape because people that I know don't necessarily support
00:10:35
whatever the case may be. I can't get mad at that because
00:10:39
that's on that individual. They want to do what they want
00:10:41
to do. I can't force it, but it's all
00:10:44
good because I didn't do it to make other people happy.
00:10:50
I did it to make myself happy and see if I can really achieve
00:10:53
what I put in my head and put this plane in motion.
00:10:56
Cause like Nipsey Hussle has said, it's a marathon.
00:11:00
Then also we got love relationships while chasing
00:11:06
perfect purpose, discussing how building a brand exposes
00:11:12
relationships dynamic. You know, talking about that in
00:11:16
these episodes, you know, it's like you can be close with
00:11:20
people your whole life, but as soon as you make that change,
00:11:24
they don't necessarily have to be starting a company type of
00:11:28
change. You can become a parent, you can
00:11:30
take your job serious. You know, a lot of people
00:11:35
usually take life series after 25 S.
00:11:37
Some people get tired of the hitting the club every weekend,
00:11:41
the same thing, the same everything, same bars and
00:11:43
lounging. You know, a lot of people grow
00:11:45
out of things and they want to do something different, so
00:11:48
they'll move to different areas, different cities are out there
00:11:52
comfort, you know, just an escape those I wouldn't say
00:11:58
demons, but you don't want to do something different and you know
00:12:02
not be part of the same old, same old, you know, a brother
00:12:05
fresh air, as someone would say. So necessarily, you know, when
00:12:08
you whatever decision you make in your life and when you're
00:12:15
escaping the same everyday thing that you're known for reputation
00:12:20
wise and will you make that change?
00:12:22
People going to make you feel guilty, but deep down inside
00:12:25
they wish they can do the same thing.
00:12:27
But it's a mental thing, not necessarily a physical thing.
00:12:33
You got to get yourselves out that mind frame that some people
00:12:37
keep for years and years and years and pass it on to their
00:12:42
children, children without realizing it.
00:12:45
So it's like at a point in time, somebody got to break the
00:12:49
generational curse and don't make a person feel guilty when
00:12:53
they want to make that curse. Because as time goes on, change
00:13:00
is good. Change is good.
00:13:04
And when that being said, we should also educate on choosing
00:13:10
the right partner, not necessarily while leveling up,
00:13:13
but just choosing the right partner period.
00:13:15
Instead of just having somebody just to say they have somebody
00:13:19
and they're miserable at the same time, we should choose
00:13:26
continue choosing the right person because the right partner
00:13:30
help things elevate. When you around right, good
00:13:32
people, you elevate on all levels and when you're around
00:13:38
negative people, we a lot of folks can really see that from
00:13:43
however long they've been on this earth to now and see that
00:13:46
that toxicness can really drain a person all the way down and
00:13:52
stress kills. Stress kills without you even
00:13:55
knowing. So we should also build up
00:13:59
instead of I know my motto is we still building, but I want a lot
00:14:04
of people to realize that building each other up, whether
00:14:08
if it's good or bad, but still keep that positive mind stating
00:14:13
the person. But hey, you know, you can do
00:14:14
this. You can do that instead of just
00:14:17
being negative and going in, going in tune with the messiness
00:14:21
because the messiness get a lot of people nowhere.
00:14:24
But it's hard to stick out and stay positive because it's not
00:14:28
the easiest thing to do. But as time goes on, when we see
00:14:32
when things are the easiest thing to do, it's always hard to
00:14:35
get out. And then we got to educate
00:14:38
people on dealing with insecurities, misalignment and
00:14:43
emotional distractions. We all have personal and life
00:14:48
experiences that we talk about or don't talk about.
00:14:52
And my thing is throughout this whole season, we gotta educate
00:14:59
people on what they dealing with and be straight up with them and
00:15:04
not just kick them down because they're going through a rough
00:15:09
patch in life. Some people don't learn today 50
00:15:13
but they might have the common sense, but they might not have
00:15:17
the good support system or direction to get themselves on a
00:15:21
certain angle and life to build ourselves up, It takes a while.
00:15:28
It's not going to happen overnight.
00:15:29
So we should all think about building each other up, letting
00:15:37
them know like, Hey, I know what you're going through, but you
00:15:41
should really take some advice and, you know, try to get
00:15:45
yourself together. I know it's not going to be
00:15:47
overnight, but you don't really have to get yourself together.
00:15:51
And some people need a daily communication, not just a, a
00:15:55
conversation here and there. Six months here, 7 here, a year
00:15:59
or two here. It's a daily thing or a weekly
00:16:02
thing. You just got to stay committed
00:16:05
to people because you know, people that I've known for
00:16:08
years. I know I don't talk to them on a
00:16:11
regular basis, but I still see them on social media.
00:16:16
And I know people have their lives and stuff, but it doesn't
00:16:22
hurt to reach out and get positive reinforcement.
00:16:27
Even if it's a happy birthday, a person can recognize that be
00:16:30
like, OK, some type of checking up on me.
00:16:36
And then, you know, as always learning that love should
00:16:40
support growth, not compete with.
00:16:44
Now love is in so many different ways.
00:16:50
But as I look at it, if a person is really genuine and got love
00:16:56
for you, they would tell you what you're doing wrong and what
00:16:59
you're doing right. And we should also encourage
00:17:05
each other instead of hate one another.
00:17:07
When you encourage someone, the village is happy, whether if
00:17:11
there's no money coming in, whether if there's nothing
00:17:14
gained out of it. But positive reinforcement goes
00:17:17
a long way to being toxic. Being toxic has you feuding for
00:17:22
years and years and years to where it becomes generational.
00:17:26
And a lot of people are mad at each other and don't know why.
00:17:30
So we need to work on being positive with one another on a
00:17:36
genuine, keeping it genuine. And if you just not that kind of
00:17:40
person, just be that. Don't try to fake the funk or
00:17:44
anything like that. Just be who you are because at
00:17:48
the end of the day, if you live in your truth, your life will be
00:17:51
so much better and happier and successful.
00:17:54
Doesn't matter what you got going on as long as you live in
00:17:56
your truth. And the key lessons is love
00:18:00
require emotional safety. When someone's venting and being
00:18:04
genuine, they expect safety out of the conversation or however
00:18:09
the transaction is coming about. So trust is everything and once
00:18:13
trust is hurt or or that own relationship is tainted, it's
00:18:21
hard to build it back. So you only got one life to live
00:18:25
and depending on the individual, you might have that one time and
00:18:28
they might be cool on you and it's a friendly game of
00:18:32
baseball, 3 strikes and you're out.
00:18:34
That's one way you got to look at things when communicating
00:18:37
with individuals and people. The wrong connection can slow
00:18:41
your mission. It goes back to if you want to
00:18:45
make a change with certain things that you got to change
00:18:49
with your lifestyle. If you want to make a change for
00:18:52
the better, you can't make a change and keep the same habits.
00:18:56
We've seen that with multiple celebrities, mainly rappers of
00:19:00
as it recently made a change in life to become successful but
00:19:06
can't shake the old lifestyle that they once lived.
00:19:10
And we all seen how that turned out.
00:19:14
So that's one way of looking at things.
00:19:16
When you make the change go all the way in.
00:19:19
Ain't no half stepping once more is.
00:19:23
Peace is more valuable than chemistry.
00:19:27
When you are at peace and you're good with yourself, the
00:19:32
chemistry doesn't really matter because you can have chemistry
00:19:37
with people all the time, but they might bring you drama.
00:19:44
And most people don't like to deal with drama, so they'll
00:19:48
choose a piece over the drama. You could be selling them a good
00:19:52
story, how you this, how you that, along with companies and
00:19:56
relationships and jobs. But once you try to affect a
00:20:02
person's piece, they're going to look at you different.
00:20:05
And you might not recover from that no matter how good of a
00:20:08
person you are. And remember, I learned that who
00:20:13
you build with matters just as much as what you are building.
00:20:20
That's why I be very cautious on who I bring around after that
00:20:25
last relationship. And then we're going to get into
00:20:29
legacy thinking beyond right now.
00:20:32
Start from short term wins to long term impact.
00:20:39
My short term, when I started, as per usual, I got the LLCI,
00:20:47
did the work by hand with no assistance, just YouTube
00:20:52
University. And then it turned into me
00:20:56
starting a podcast, me branching off to start another company.
00:21:04
What's going to be expanding in the next couple of months.
00:21:07
So I can't let the cat out the bag on that one.
00:21:10
It lets me I'm going live on TikTok expanding on social
00:21:14
media, being written about 6 times, Nashville voyage, canvas
00:21:19
rebel and bold journey. So the short, the short term
00:21:24
wins were starting the company doing the work, putting in the
00:21:32
posting, making reels on everything for social media.
00:21:37
And then the long term wins is being recognized in a national
00:21:43
international platforms. So as I said, per usual, I'm
00:21:49
internationally known and it's a beautiful feeling, not used to
00:21:54
it as of yet, but it's a beautiful feeling.
00:21:57
And then along with legacy being intentional about the message
00:22:03
you leave behind, because if anything can happen, people can
00:22:10
always say that he built something from the ground up.
00:22:15
He, whatever their, whatever their last memory of me is what
00:22:20
they're, is what I left behind for them.
00:22:24
That's for other people to speak on, not so much myself.
00:22:28
And then also building something that reflects value, not just
00:22:32
success. Legacy is good, but it comes
00:22:38
with a lot of values. When you're building something,
00:22:41
you know that you have to walk the walk and talk to talk.
00:22:46
So I try to be professional the best way I can in all
00:22:51
situations, even outside of work, because I can always be
00:22:56
judged by any and everybody. So it's best to just stay on
00:23:01
your toes and not get too involved with the nonsense and
00:23:07
the lessons to hit. As you know, legacy is
00:23:13
consistency over time. The more you do what you do, the
00:23:19
greater it be long term. Prime example is Kevin Hart.
00:23:23
Now he started in the comedy clubs, then he got small little
00:23:27
movie roles, then the stand up grew and grew and look at them
00:23:31
now prime example, integrity when no one's watching.
00:23:37
That is the number one thing right there.
00:23:39
When you have integrity, people respect you a whole lot more
00:23:43
because it show it tells them that you stand for something and
00:23:50
you don't just fall for anything.
00:23:52
So having integrity is always a, a good thing.
00:23:56
And once integrity is broken, that's the same thing with
00:24:01
relationships. It's hard to build it back.
00:24:05
And being an example, not just a voice per usual when people look
00:24:12
at celebrities, people in the industry and they want them,
00:24:17
they have a, a picture of how them people are.
00:24:21
So you can use that as an example, but when you see in the
00:24:25
tabloids and papers and news clips of them doing unlawfully
00:24:30
things, you know, you kind of look at them a little different,
00:24:34
even though they're human, but you look at them different.
00:24:37
And then also on the reflection tip, I'm building something that
00:24:42
speaks even when I'm not in the room.
00:24:47
We Legit LLC was established August 2021 and I don't built it
00:24:55
all the way up to now and I couldn't imagine what's being
00:25:00
said in rooms I'm not in. But it's all positive at the end
00:25:04
of the day and without the the help of the people, whether you
00:25:13
like share, talked about it, made a purchase, made a review,
00:25:18
all that little stuff that y'all did helped us grow.
00:25:22
And I really appreciate y'all and what this season demands
00:25:27
from you. Sacrifice time, comfort, certain
00:25:33
relationships, you know, pressure turned into purpose,
00:25:39
letting go of old versions of yourself.
00:25:43
All that comes with, you know, when you look at my episodes,
00:25:50
you're sacrificing time to take a look at me or listen to me
00:25:55
appreciation. In due time, you will become
00:25:58
comfortable and then you'll understand my point of view on
00:26:03
things and it might resonate on what you're going through or
00:26:06
what you have been through. And then from there, it builds a
00:26:10
relationship. Some of us, some of the people
00:26:14
that listen to me or watch me, you know, we already have a
00:26:17
relationship, but there's some people that don't know me from a
00:26:20
can of paint and we're building a relationship to where it's a,
00:26:25
a common ground. And you know, it's, it's a new
00:26:30
growth in the whole process of podcasting, pressure turning
00:26:39
into purpose. When you take the time out to
00:26:43
listen to my podcast, there's not necessary pressure, but by
00:26:47
you listening to, it's no turning to purpose because
00:26:51
whatever I'm saying might motivate you in a way that you
00:26:54
never thought of. You might think that because you
00:26:58
in a certain position or you're in a certain certain, what's the
00:27:06
word I'm looking for? We're just saying a certain
00:27:09
point in your life to where you're not sure which way to go.
00:27:13
And by me saying what I'm saying, I make it easy for
00:27:17
everybody because everybody has a purpose.
00:27:21
It just takes a minute for you to realize what your purpose is.
00:27:25
And also what I also learned is letting go old versions of
00:27:30
yourself. When you're elevating, leveling
00:27:34
up, you're going to start shedding people that know you're
00:27:38
going to look at you different. They're going to feel the
00:27:40
difference. As long as you live in your
00:27:43
truth and you're comfortable in who you are, that should not be
00:27:48
a problem. And always remember, growth
00:27:51
requires separation. Elevation can feel lonely, but
00:27:59
you're growing in the process. Comfort delays destiny.
00:28:05
Then we got gratitude and community.
00:28:11
Thanks to the Listener, supporters and day one believers
00:28:16
without y'all. As I said previously in the
00:28:18
episode, in previous episodes, on this episode, if it wasn't
00:28:22
for y'all, this one that grew as much as it did.
00:28:26
Shout out to Nashville and those who see the vision.
00:28:30
When I came to Nashville. This is my whole purpose and
00:28:34
what I wanted to do and it grew a whole lot further than I had
00:28:38
thought. And I would like to appreciate
00:28:41
the the Nashville folks, the family out in Nashville and the
00:28:46
Carters for show. And if it wasn't for Fred T
00:28:49
planting the seed and the foundation, this this would have
00:28:55
never been the DNA written part wouldn't be going on right now.
00:29:00
I really like to appreciate that man for that.
00:29:03
And also acknowledging the silent supporters.
00:29:08
I know it's this one particular person that's a silent
00:29:13
supporter, but we don't keep it at that, even when it feels
00:29:20
quiet. I wasn't alone.
00:29:23
People see you prospering and growing.
00:29:27
They want to be a part of that and they don't know how to join
00:29:30
the team. So it's just there's always a
00:29:34
way as time goes on, as time goes on, things change and you
00:29:39
know, reconnect. So that's it's just all good.
00:29:44
Ain't got to be every day. Just a message here and there.
00:29:47
I like here, a comment there. It's all gladly appreciated.
00:29:51
I talked to any and everybody and I don't judge.
00:29:53
So it's it's a good way and I'll talk to everybody.

00:30:24

00:30:27
And if you would like to be on the podcast and I'm explaining
00:30:32
your your journey story or your talent, same thing.
00:30:37
Just shoot me Adm. What's next for the next season?
00:30:44
It's going to be deeper conversations, higher standards,
00:30:50
more structure, sharper focus on guests, storytelling, and adding
00:30:58
a lot of impact because I motivated a lot of people in so
00:31:04
many different ways to where I feel like I should talk a whole
00:31:09
lot deeper because originality with me is everything.
00:31:13
And that's what I'm all about. As I stand by what the company
00:31:17
name is, We legitimately still building.
00:31:21
But the next season isn't about proving.
00:31:25
It's about positioning, growing, growing, growing and getting
00:31:35
close to closing this out. I would like to speak to
00:31:39
directly to the builders, the creators and dreamers.
00:31:45
Don't stop what you're doing. Everything might be low views,
00:31:51
people watching it all kind of stuff.
00:31:53
But don't worry, they are watching.
00:31:57
They might not believe in you just yet that they are watching.
00:32:01
And it's all about encouraging patience.
00:32:05
And then once you got patience, then things gonna start
00:32:09
aligning. Once things is aligning, then
00:32:13
it's gonna build up yourself belief.
00:32:15
And once you build up yourself, belief can nothing can stop you
00:32:19
'cause now you are in motion and it's just a matter of time to to
00:32:27
catch the spotlight. History say no, not history.
00:32:32
Numbers say that black-owned businesses only last 18 months.
00:32:36
I've been around since August of 2021.
00:32:39
Started off with making shirts and clothing, hoodies, jackets,
00:32:43
jerseys, transition to podcasting and transition to
00:32:47
another company. I'll be starting under the same
00:32:50
umbrella but just another portion of the company in the
00:32:54
next couple of months or so. You can start one way, but you
00:32:58
can always venture off into something else.
00:33:00
It's like when you go to college, you might have one
00:33:03
major you like, then you get a secondary.
00:33:06
So it's the same grind, different aspects.
00:33:12
And all you people need to know is if you are building and it
00:33:20
feels heavy, you are not behind, you are becoming.
00:33:27
We legit we still building. And before I close this out,
00:33:35
just remember this, Your story matters, your grind matters and
00:33:41
where you are heading is bigger than where you started.
